fragrance review: CEYLON

Founded by Patrick Boateng II, Ceylon was a bodycare line designed for men of color and their unique skincare needs. The eponymous Eau de Parfum was developed in collaboration with Patrick and launched in April of 2023. Package design by artist, Trey Hurst. Read about customer fragrance impressions here.

artist collaboration: frally

Being, a scented candle developed in collaboration with LA-based musician Frally.

Usage: B E I N G is a collaboration of sound and scent.

Light your candle and relax with the binaural, suspended track which is recorded at 432Hz - the harmonic intonation of nature. Together, the track and the scent will generate immense neural impulse by activating both the temporal and olfactory complex in the brain to shift your frequency into a deep healing space. Headphones are recommended but not essential.

Artist collaboration: iao + Dublab + BIGHOUSe

A collaboration between dublab and The Institute for Art and Olfaction, Nose Music is a box-set of 10 custom-formulated fragrances created by the team at The IAO, with accompanying artworks by Chris Johanson & Joanna Jackson, Dave Muller, Eboy, Fernanda Cohen, Frohawk Two Feathers, Jamie Wolfe Kozyndan, Kris Chau, Plastic Crimewave & Sara Gossett, and Tokio Aoyama. Each fragrance and artwork reflects the spirit of a classic, groundbreaking album.
